Participating Builders
In the Wexford Community, construction is not limited to specific builders. However, the Architectural Committee must approve the building plans, plot plan and name of the builder prior to the commencement of construction.
The builder proposed by an owner is reviewed for experience, past history in related developments and willingness to comply with the requirements during construction. Upon acceptance of the builder by the Architectural Committee, the plans are reviewed and if acceptable, the owner is notified in writing that the house construction may proceed.
However, in order to assist buyers, the Architectural Committee has established a list of Participating Builders that are considered able to meet the standards of the community and can be considered acceptable now. These builders have clearly demonstrated the capability and desire to meet the necessary obligations established in the covenants. If the owner certifies that one of these builders will be used for construction in Wexford or Wexford Commons, the owner is only required to submit the building plans and plot plan. For other builders that become approved for construction as outlined above, after house completion the name of the builder will be placed on the list of Participating Builders if the committee feels that the builder has satisfactorily met the standards of the Wexford community during construction.
The Participating Builder list is an evolving document and will be periodically modified as the subdivision development proceeds. The builders currently on the list are shown below (please note that inclusion on this list only indicates that the specific builder is approved for construction in the community and is not a recommendation of the builder's services):
